Hobbit Radio

Yup, Hobbit FM has arrived at a blog near you. You guessed it - this blog! Yaay! Every weekend (haha, as if I'll remember) I'll update it with a different track so that you can have a listen and get an insight into my music collection.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

This week - Massive Attack's Teardrop! Yaaay!

Yay music but WHY does the ticking part of the beak have to be so loud?!

That's trip-hop for you, dearie :D I think the ticking is supposed to be a baby's heartbeat. That's what it seems to be in the video.

I just noticed I typed "beak" instead of "beat". Ha!
I like the current music (Beck-Girl) too even if I can't hear a single word of it

Oh! So you did!

I know what you mean about not understanding the words... when I first heard this on the radio, they didn't say what song it was, so I spent ages Googling what I thought were the lyrics. I got there A YEAR LATER.

Beak?!! Oh how I laughed.
Massive Attack are cool. Trip hop eh? The early 90's certainly was a great time for that sort of music... Portishead, Tricky, Lamb, the first Sneaker Pimps album. And all that mad drum and bass. Happy days! I feel like a right old sheep now.

Beck's new album is well cool too. We get all the latest grooves in this barn!
